This book reconsiders a tea house I designed in 2001, that was one of my most profound artistic awakenings. Like the Ise Shrine in Japan, I remade the tea house 20-years later and wrote the sort of instruction manual that outlines the process as well tries to trace back to my thinking at the time in relation to the present. It's weird.
